Shoes & Socks
Paws need protection more often than people expect: summer pavement burns, winter salt irritates, and hardwood floors give seniors no grip. This collection covers rubber-soled boots, lighter walking shoes and non-slip socks with grip pads. Most dogs object at first, so introduce one boot at a time indoors with treats before a full walk. Measure the widest part of the paw while your dog is standing, since the paw spreads under weight and a boot sized while sitting will pinch.
