Why a fountain

Moving water encourages dogs and cats to drink more, and better hydration matters for kidney and urinary health, particularly in cats and senior pets. A fountain also stays fresher than a bowl sitting out all day.

Upkeep

Replace the filter on the schedule in the instructions and wash the pump and reservoir regularly; a neglected fountain gets slimy faster than a bowl. Keep the cord out of reach of chewers.
