Chilly Dog

Chilly Dog sweaters are hand-knit from wool and alpaca blends, made in fair-trade cooperatives. They are heavier and warmer than a fleece layer, which is the point: these are for real cold, not for looks.

Wool and alpaca knits

Alpaca blends are softer against the skin and less itchy than straight wool, and they hold warmth when damp. Classic stripes, cable patterns and graphic knits, in a sizing range that covers toy breeds through large dogs.

Care

Hand wash cool and dry flat. Do not put a wool knit in the dryer. Cared for properly these last several winters and often get handed down to the next dog.

Fit

Knits have give, so measure back length first and chest second. If your dog is between sizes, size up for a layer over a shirt.
