Breakaway collars

Any collar on a cat should be a breakaway. Cats climb and squeeze into places where a fixed collar can catch, and the release buckle is what prevents an accident.

Toys

Wand and feather teasers for interactive play, plus small toys for solo batting. Wand toys do more for an indoor cat's energy than anything they use alone.

Put wand toys away between sessions so the string is not chewed unsupervised, and replace a teaser once the feathers are stripped.
