Car seat covers and hammocks: bench covers, hammock styles that hang between headrests, cargo liners and bucket-seat protectors.

Styles

A hammock keeps a dog from sliding into the footwell and protects the seat backs as well as the cushion. Flat bench covers are easier to fit and remove. Cargo liners suit larger dogs riding behind a barrier.

Notes

A cover protects your car but does not restrain your dog. Use a crash-tested harness or a secured crate as well. Check fit against your seat dimensions, and choose a waterproof backing if your dog swims or gets muddy.
