Between baths

A light spritz freshens a coat when a full bath is not due, which is the main use here. Frequent bathing strips the coat, so a cologne is often the better answer to a faintly doggy smell.

Use gently

Spray from a distance onto the body, never the face, and skip fragrance altogether on a dog with sensitive skin or breathing problems. A dog's nose is far more sensitive than yours, so less is genuinely better.

A strong or sudden odor usually means a skin, ear or dental problem. Fragrance covers it; it does not fix it.
