Bows attach with either a French barrette clip or a latex band depending on the style, and most come in a long list of colors so you can match a collar, harness, or dress. Crystal styles use set stones rather than glue.

Barrette clips suit dogs with enough topknot hair to grip, such as Yorkies, Shih Tzus, Maltese, and Poodles. For finer or shorter coats, choose a band style or a smaller bow so the weight does not pull.
