We wanted fabric that looked just like real hay, couldn’t find any, and so we made our own! Originally created for the floppy pillows for the Smucci Manger Bed, we thought it might be great to just make a bigger cushion that resembled an entire bale!
Smucci Hay is a rich, warm, and beautiful fabric. Such a simple concept, but the complex natural beauty is truly revealed in this special Smucci Fabric! And how fun to see our pets sleeping on top of a big fluffy pile of hay!
The fabric is naturally flame retardant, without adding any chemicals, and is completely washable. The complimentary minky fabric on the underside of the cushion is polyester, and retains its softness after repeated washing. Wash in cool, dry on low!
The interior of the Smucci Bale of Hay is stuffed with 3 down substitute pillows, which wash easily without clumping, and are easily replace if excessively soiled. A handle, sewn into the side of the Bale, makes it easy to pick it up and go! An upholstery strength zipper keeps it all together.
