How to Measure Your Dogs Head for
a Dog Helmet
The opening (width) of the dog helmet measures as follows:
XS (4 inches)
S (5 inches)
M (6 inches)
L (7 inches)
Take a measuring tape and measure across the top of your dogs head from ear to
ear (without bending the tape) - Order the size based on what inch mark is
closest to the width of your dogs head from ear to ear. Please call us if you
need help measuring your dogs head.

Helmet Sizing Chart
To insure a proper
fit, measure your pet's head-across the forehead, around to the back of the
head. If your pet has floppy ears, be sure to include them in your measuring.
Select a size from the chart that most closely matches this measurement.
*Sizing Tip
If you find your pets
head measurement listed on two (2) different sizes, keep this tip in mind when
ordering. If your pets head measures 12", you have a choice of a
"X-Small" or a "Small". If the maximum helmet size is
12" and your pets head measures the same, you may want to allow for a
little extra room. ince there is only a 1" difference in the circumference
between helmets, it might be best to select the larger of the two.
