Dogs have been my constant companions from day one. Our boxer would lay next to my bassinet & let no one but family come near. Since then, we've had Westies to Newfs & everything in between. All wonderful & mischievous,lovable & entertaining. The product of artistic, nature loving parents, I was destined to become an animal artist. My love & compassion for all animals can be seen in my work.
I majored in Fine Arts at UCCS. Have exhibited & sold works through the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
& Novis Art Gallery in my hometown of Colorado Springs. I donate artwork to local animal rescues to help raise funds.
My wolf painting was used by the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo to advertise their annual art show.
Colorado Springs All Breed Rescue asked me to do the artwork for their Romp in the Park fundraiser t-shirts. They sold out during the event.
My murals & portraits can be found at Dublin Animal Hospital, Vallejo's Mexican Restaurant
& many homes in Black Forest & The Broadmoor.
My wildlife & pet portraits are also in private collections in Arizona & Texas.
When we aren't in our studio, my husband & I are out walking our four rescue dogs -
Blue, Bella , Brendie & Max - at the leash free dog park where they make new friends every week.
