The Base Station is the component of the Safety Turtle wireless alert system which sounds the alarm. All Safety Turtle wireless systems require at least one Base Station. Safety Turtle sensors have no audible or visual outputs, so serve no useful function without a Base Station.

There is no limit to the number of sensors / sensor types of the same color that can work with one Base Station. Additional Base Station(s) spaced apart:

increase the total sensor coverage area, and/or
expand the area of alarm audibility

In the first case, Base Stations alarm in unison only when the sensor is activated where coverage overlaps. In the second case, the coverage areas are nominally the same and the Base Stations are intended to alarm in unison.

*BThe Safety Turtle Base Station and each Turtle Sensor are purchased individually. The Safety Turtle Base Station includes the base, an AC adapter and a comprehensive User Guide.

The Turtle securely attaches to any pet’s collar, harness or life jacket using the supplied Velcro Adaptor.
The Turtle is available in attractive colors.
The Turtle is permanently sealed and can withstand pet's play.
The Turtle has a battery life of 3-4 years.
Your pet is protected even while the pool is in use or is being cleaned. There is no need to turn the system off.
Safety Turtle is easily portable, and with the Turtle Power battery pack / weatherproof bag accessory, can be used anywhere.
The alarm volume can be reduced temporarily for testing.
The Turtle(s) can be tested for low battery.
The Safety Turtle system can be progressively expanded through the purchase of additional sensors(s) of the same color.
By using different colors of Turtle, neighbors can enjoy the benefits of Safety Turtle without triggering each other's alarms.

The Pet Immersion Alarm may be used in conjunction with the wireless gate alarm to enhance the security of your pool or property access. Wireless Gate Alarm and Turtle sensors of the same color can share the same Base Station.
